On Monday last week, I escorted my son to Wenela Bus Depot. He was leaving for school in Lilongwe. He was dragging his suitcase and I carried a bag for him. When we approached the depot, we were barred by over 10 minibus touters—pulling our bags and each pushing us to where their minibuses were. In the process, one minibus touter hit my son.

I would like to express my concern over the way some cases are handled by the Judiciary. In particular, the High Court where these cases take a year or more for a ruling to be delivered. I am a layman in the field of law, but I do not understand why it should take that long to deliver a ruling on an injunction?
