CCOD connects water to 167 households

Centre for Community Organisation (CCOD), in conjunction with Blantyre Water Board and Malawi Homeless People’s Federation, has embarked on a five-year water project to help people have access to clean and safe water.

The project, which is being funded by African Development Bank, will see households being connected to piped water to help reduce problems women face when they want to draw water.

At least 167 households at Ndirande, Bangwe, Nancholi, Machinjiri, Chilomoni, Chirimba have already benefited from the project.—BLESSINGS KANG’OMBE, Correspondent
