District finals of the 2014 edition of the Copa Coca-Cola Tournament started in all the regions of the country, according to Carlsberg Malawi Limited senior brands manager (non-alcoholic), Titha Mbilizi.

“We have been tracking progress of games in each of the divisions to get a feel of the tournament. So far, we are pleased with the huge turnout of supporters at community level. We have seen a whole new level of enthusiasm,” said Mbilizi.

“With Copa 2014, we have seen discipline in terms of preparation for the games and also on the field sportsmanship. This being a Fifa World Cup year, we expect our youngsters to aim high and emulate their international football heros. As sponsors, we believe the spirit of the World Cup is evident in Copa 2014 in terms of discipline and dedication,” she said.

On April 5, all inter-district winners will play at Lilongwe Technical College ground in the divisional final.
