20 organizations battle for Malawi 2019 Future Summit supremacy

Thousands of US Dollars are up for grabs in a social innovation summit dubbed The Malawi 2019 Future Summit at Ufulu Gardens in Lilongwe.

About 20 Organizations are participating in the summit since morning today where they are expected to present their innovations and stand to win up to $10,000.
The summit has been organized by the Segal Family Foundation as one way of promoting innovation and improved service delivery according to Director of Innovation Dedo Bononshomoye.

“Our main focus is on innovation and linkages between service providers, baneciciaries and the government as the policy custodian,” he said.

Nation Publications Ltd which is one of the participants at the summit is expected presented the annual Mothers Fun Run innovation.

Bononshomoye said number one will get $10, 000, position two will get $10,000 and there will be several other people between $5,000 to $3000.

He said winners will be announced this evening at a Cocktail where prizes will be aplshed.
