The five are defenders Stanely Sanudi and Francis Mulimbika, midfielders Ernest Tambe and Isaac Kaliyati and striker Jabulani Linje.

The five are part of the squad currently preparing for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea.

The Nomads are assessing all the players to determine the 25 players that will make the final squad.

“Those that are with the national team will be exempted because for them to be considered for national team, it means that they are good.

“So, those that are training will compete for the 25 available places,” said the Nomads legend.

He said the final squad will be named by Friday.

Commenting on Japanese trialist Genki Nakamura, Chamangwana said a final decision will be made after assessing him in a game situation.

“He has done well. He is a good player, no doubt about that, but we need to see him in a game situation

“We are arranging friendly matches this coming weekend and that’s when we will make a final decision,” said Chamangwana.

Meanwhile, assistant coach Elia Kananji has described the level of completion during the assessment as impressive.

“The players are aware that no one will get special treatment during the assessment,” Kananji said.

“They are all working hard and I can assure you that it will be tough to pick the best 25.”
