As count-down to the inaugural Blue Mingoli music concert continues, Standard Bank has today announced a 50 percent ‘Early Bird’ discount on tickets to customers and music lovers who will buy the tickets between October 1 and October 14.

The offer sees the Regular ticket reduced to K8 000 ($14) from K15 000 ($26), the VIP ticket to K12 500 ($22) from K25 000 ($44) and the VVIP ticket to K25 000 from K35 000 ($61).lira

Standard Bank customers have been offered the tickets at half prices of K7 500 [$13] (regular), K10 000 [$18] (VIP) and K15 000 (VVIP).

In a statement, the bank’s Head of Marketing, Thoko Unyolo, said the offer provides an opportunity for Malawians to patronise and enjoy the concert.

“As we bring the inaugural Blue Mingoli music concert, we want to ensure that no one misses the opportunity to witness this great event, hence the discount for those who want to take advantage of the early bird offer,” said Unyolo.

On the offer to the bank’s customers, Unyolo said: “This particular offer for customers is valid until October 10. The tickets are on first come, first serve basis, so music lovers should hurry to the nearest Standard Bank branch.”

South Africa’s award-winning vocalist Lerato Molapo better known by her stage name as Lira is the headline artist for the concert, with Malawi’s Lulu as supporting artist.
