54 yr old man in for incest

A 54 for year old man is in police custody in Lunzu-Blantyre after being found forcing himself on his own 12 year old daughter on Saturday night.

The man Danvan Msiska reportedly took the child from her mother at Senzani in Ntcheu whom he divorced, promising to buy her clothes at Lunzu Trading Centre.

He then booked two rooms at Vicky motel at the trading centre claiming it was too late to go back home.

According to Southern Region Deputy Police Publist Beatrice Mikuwa, Msiska then went into the child’s room in the middle of the night and started to defile her while she was screaming.

“Guards and customers from other rooms held the screaming and rushed to the room where they found the man in the act. He was immediately reported to police,” explained Mikuwa.

She said the girl was referred to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital where it was verified that she was indeed defiled.

Msiska will be taken to court soon to answer charges of incest.

He is from Isongwe Village in the area of Traditional Authority Mwahenga in Rumphi.
