It will be an A cappella evening when We Are One, an all-male A cappella group will treat gospel music lovers to a night of melodies on August 3 at Crossroads Hotel in Blantyre.

The group’s chairperson Gideon Chimbalangondo said the event is meant to raise funds for the smooth operations of the group but also to give the group a chance to interact with gospel music lovers.

“We really want to establish a rapport, make friends and network,” he said.

Chimbalangondo said the A cappella night will start with one hour of their performance, then dinner plus other activities like talks on family life.

“A cappella music is getting embraced more and more every day and we want to build from there,” said Chimbalangondo.

Steve Chiwaya, a member of the group, said all is set for the evening.

He said: “As a group we have prepared for the best performance and we call upon gospel music lovers to come and listen to sweet sounds while they are dining.”

Tickets for the event are being sold in a personalised manner by the members of the group.

We Are One comprises Chimbalangondo, Chiwaya, Eston Malindima, Davie Chiwaya, Moses Malindima and Mphatso Kadzimbwa.
