“The two singles off the 10-track album were recorded and produced in Blantyre at Audio Clinic by two of the country’s most gifted producers, Anko Layi and Marvin Hanke. Titled When You’re Away and Wandimenyera Nkhondo, the singles are slated to be released on radio this week, building anticipation for the album titledParadise to be released later in the year,” says Kimpho Hastings Loka, talent & media consultant at Pencils PR, the agency which is handling Adrian’s promotion campaign.

According to Loka, the 19-year-old singer and guitarist is also set to release the album and that he is ready to take Malawi music industry to greater heights.

“Adrian is one amazing youngster to watch. His material is incredible, mature music that you wouldn’t believe it’s the making of someone his age. Definitely he is a blessing to our music industry. A star came out from the 2013 Sunbird Search for a Star and let’s help keep that star shining,” he said.

The artist says the album will be full of love and gospel. “I’ve always been ready for this. I believe music is a calling and I’m so excited that finally I can give the people what they have been waiting for. This is my thank you to them for the confidence they had in me during the competition, I went into the studios and now am returning that favour by giving them nothing but good music.

“Malawi you were right by my side during the Search for a Star, I made it all because of your support and as I now take a new step, I ask you to be right by my side,” said the singer.

Born in Blantyre on 17 July, 1994, Adrian is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Lilongwe.
