Aford postpones convention

The Alliance for Democracy (Aford) has postponed its convention which was scheduled to take place on December 29 this year.

“The Alliance for Democracy [Aford] wishes to inform the nation of the decision to defer its national conference/convention set to take place on December 29 2012 to some later date in the near future.,” said party publicity secretary Dan Msowoya in a statement released on Christmas Day. He indicated the convention might take place in the first quarter of 2013.—EDWIN NYIRONGO
