This will be Agnes’ third international bout this year following her return to the ring after a two-year break.

“The upcoming bout will help me gauge if I am ready to challenge for a title bout,” said Agnes who boasts six wins, two draws and a loss.

The former World Boxing Federation (WBF) light middleweight champion won both her previous bouts against Kenyan Joyce Awino (in July) and Tanzanian Amina Mhumbira (in April).

“I have intensified my preparations and I am hoping to win on a technical knockout,” said the 23-year-old boxer.

Her Tanzanian opponent Salietiel, has a record of four wins, two losses and a draw. n
