Airborne Rangers will use Chitowe as their home ground in the 2014 TNM Super League season, according to assistant team manager Patrick Tawanya.

“Yes, they have accepted us to today [Wednesday] to use the ground as our home ground,” said Tawanya.

Tawaya said they were yet to inform the Super League of Malawi (Sulom) about the development as they are waiting for an official letter from Illovo Sugar Malawi management.

Airborne Rangers will share the ground with their fellow soldiers, Mafco FC.

Meanwhile, Rangers on Sunday lost 0-3 to Zomba United at Salima.

On Saturday, Zomba United held Blue Eagles to a 1-1 draw. On Sunday, Eagles lost 1-0 to newly formed Tiakalulu Stars at Area 30.

Rangers spokesperson lieutenant Chancy Chembezi said they were down by a goal at half-time.

“We were trying new players, so we featured a changed team, to give chance to all the players,” said Chembezi.
