The promotion which began in October last year, has so far produced 36 millionaires in the Central Region, 31 and 10 in the Southern and Northern regions respectively.
In his remarks, Airtel marketing director Tanmoiy Saha, said the Tipate promotion had enabled the brand to fulfil its promise of enriching its customers’ lives.
“Our aim as a brand is to create a positive impact for our customers by helping them achieve their full potential. This is the reason why we opted to give out cash prizes every day because with such a large amount of K 1 million our customers are empowered to address whatever needs they have.”
Saha further said the promotion had generated a great excitement among customers.
Apart from creating the millionaires, Airtel projects to amass a total of 1 054 winners of consolation prizes after conducting the Grand Draw for the much anticipated K10 million this Friday.
