Making the presentation, Airtel’s Chief Commercial Officer Charles Kamoto said the giving the MK50 million was historical and a climax of celebrating Malawi’s 50 years of independence.

“It is an amazing moment for Airtel, a memorable moment for Mr Ganizani Phiri and a highly billed historical moment for mother Malawi. You see, this is how life changing the brand airtel is! For sure, the 50th independence anniversary celebrations cannot get any better and bigger than this,” said Kamoto.

Phiri was all smiles that confessed that this moment was an unbelievable highest point of his life. He hailed Airtel for coming up with the Tisangalale 50 promotion.

“I am speechless, it has been an unbelievable experience for me. My life is a testimony, it is bound to change forever. Thanks so much to Airtel, God bless you,” said a seemingly joyful Phiri, sunk in deep happiness.
