Airtel Malawi shines on international scene
Mobile Telecommunications Company in the country Airtel Malawi has emerged Africa’s Champions in a sales contest launched in the last financial year for sales teams across Airtel Africa.
Announcing the good news in Lilongwe, Airtel Malawi Sales and Distribution Director Elias Dziko said 17 Countries in which Airtel operates participated in the contest dubbed ‘Airtel Achievers Club.’
“Sales Teams were divided into zones and each zone represents an area overseen by a Zonal Business manager. A total of 115 Zones participated in Africa and Malawi was represented with seven Zones” Dziko narrated.
He said at the end of the competition, Malawian South Zone 1B came out Africa champions led by Zonal business manager Dan Kamanga with his team comprising Noel Kalimira, Maxwell Liwonde and Felix Banda.
Dziko also said Malawi teams exceptionally performed well in the competition and consistently maintained four teams in Africa top 10.
Top prize for the competition was an all-inclusive trip to Dubai for the winning Team.
