Algeria’s Desert Fennecs have provided hope to the Flames in the countdown to this evening’s decisive Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers by declaring that they will go flat out for a win against Mali in Bamako.

The Flames are hoping that Algeria should beat Mali tonight or, at least.

Algeria coach Christian Gourcuff said they are in search of the perfect qualifying record.

“There is pride at stake here and a lot of it in the sense that if we win all our group games, it will be a record,” Gourcuff was quoted by Algeria’s Daily News as saying.

So far, Algeria have won all their five group qualifying matches. They have 15 points heading into their last game.
