All set for Cezobal play-offs
The battle in 2015 Central Zone Basketball League (Cezobal) championship play-offs starts tomorrow at Civo Stadium court.
This year’s play-offs are expected to conclude by November 22 2015 with games played on Saturdays and Sundays and some mid-week.
In the men’s elite league top four teams; Central Knights, Cougars, ABC Lions and Mimbulu, will fight for honours.
Central Knights will play Mimbulu and later Cougars will face ABC Lions.
The winners will clash in the final while the losers will fight for third place.
Capital Clippers, Lady Angels, ABC Lady Lions and Lady Dynamites in the women’s league play-offs.
In the semi-finals, Capital Clippers face Lady Dynamites while Lady Angels will play ABC Lady Lions with the winners qualifying for the final while the losers will fight for third place position.
“The Cezobal play-offs this year are sponsored by GY Imports and Exports—supplier of office and home furniture, stationery and ICT equipment and sanitary ware,” Cezobal publicist and marketing chairperson Limbani Flax Yatina said.
The sponsorship covers costs for games’ administration like referees, score keepers, venue charges and prizes for winning teams.
Champions will pocket K400 000 while League B winners will get K200 000.
Women’s champions will get K200 000. The most valuable player in men will pocket K50 000 while her women’s counterpart will get K30 000. n
