Another Diktatorship in the making

Diktator has embarked on the road to his second album–blasting the airwaves with the single I Don’t Blame You, featuring Malawi’s man of the moment, Armstrong.

During his cameo at Sunbird Sand Music Festival, the radio-deejay-turned-rapper (real name Dickie Shumba) said he has completed five songs for Diktatorship II.

He said the making of the next volume has taken him to several recording houses, including Daredevils’ Low Budget and the newly opened The Kitchen.

Despite featuring the Ndakukonda hitmaker, Diktator said he is flirting with the idea to feature one or two more A-list names in the country’s urban music sector.

But many people are in for a surprise if the unorthodox Joe Gwaladi agrees to be part of the rap release, said the Yanga Ija star.

“Gwaladi has never featured on an urban music release and he has a crowd of followers that cannot be underestimated. I think it will be exciting to have him on the album,” said Diktator on Saturday.
