President Peter Mutharika has fired Minister of Information and communication Technology, Reverend Malison Ndau.

Ndau: FIred

The president has since replaced the soft spoken Ndau with former National Intelligence Bureau Chief, Nicholas Dausi, who will be doubling as government spokesperson.

A statement signed by Presidential Press Secretary and Spokesperson Kamuzu Palace, Mgeme Kalilani does not give details as regarding the firing apart from announcing “appointments”.

Lloyd Muhara has been promoted from deputy to full chief secretary to the government, while his predecessor, George Mkondiwa has been redeployed to India as high commissioner.

Dr. Issac Munlo has been recalled from India and will be Chief Director in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation.

  1. Did Ndau’s firing have anything to do with his idiotic communique regarding Chakwera’s so-called “Sate of the Nation Address”? But then who in his right mind, other than APM, would make the semi-illiterate Dausi a minister for info??
