The live concert, which featured established artists such as Favoured Martha, Martha Nthakomwa, Try Mhango, Shadreck Chisale, Christopher Phiri, Thoko Katimba, Lloyd Phiri, Sharma Vocals, Martha Kasambara and Ndirande Anglican Voices delivered a message to all gospel lovers that a new artist had arrived.

Equipped with a microphone, Muva captivated the audience with his touching performance and sultry voice.

He performed his songs with energy, passion and devotion.

Though his set was not characterised by dancing, patrons were glued to his singing and the message he delivered.

He performed songs such as Ndilengeza Moyo, Wakhungu and Alekeni Anene.

“Thank you for being such a lovely audience. This is great show and thank you for supporting me,” said Muva at the end of his performance.

Artist Lloyd Phiri and the Happiness Voices performed their famous hits such as Womkana Yesu and Umukonde Yesu.

The only time that patrons flocked to the dance floor was when artist of the moment Sharma Vocals performed his hit song No Reverse.

“This was a great show. I have enjoyed myself together with my family,” said Patrick Mkandawire, one of the patrons.

During the launch, Mzuzu City Council mayor William Mkandawire, who was the guest of honour, bought the DVD at K100 000 while Malawi Congress Party Mzuzu City parliamentary aspirant Benex Mwamlima bought a copy at K40 000.
