Battle lines drawn in Presidential Cup playoffs
Football Association of Malawi has today conducted a draw for regional playoffs of the Presidential Football Championship at Mpira Village in Chiwembe, Blantyre.
The draw has seen Kamuzu Barracks paired against Epac FC in the only match involving TNM Super League outfits.
The development follows earlier communication from FAM competitions manager Gomezgani Zakazaka that teams which finished in the top eight in the Super League last season will be seeded in the regional playoffs draw such that they would avoid facing each other in their respective regional first round draw.
The other 14 top-flight league outfits will play against teams that emerged as district champions.
According to Zakazaka first round, games have to be played between April 30 and May 11.
The team placed first on the list will be at home during the playoffs. Here is the fixture.
