Relegated Dedza Young Soccer coach Milias Pofera Jegwe has confirmed holding talks with Nyasa Big Bullets, Be Forward Wanderers and Civo United on the possibility of being part of their technical panel starting next season.

Jegwe, a CAF B Licence holder, earned praise in the just ended season for securing ‘giant killers’ tag despite coaching a club that was financially unstable.

In an interview on Wednesday, Jegwe said he is undecided on which club to join because, so far, no team has officially made an offer.

“I can confirm that these teams asked me if I could be part of their technical teams. But nobody has offered me a contract, so I can’t decide,” he said.

The coach said the clubs were not specific on the position they want him to fill once employed.

Meanwhile, Jegwe said currently he is committed to Dedza which next season will compete in the Chipiku Central Region Football League as it bids to return to the TNM Super League.

“It is good that some teams have seen positives in me. However, I am very focused on Dedza’s preparation for next season,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bullets chairman Sam Chilunga has confirmed contacting Jegwe.

He said: “We will announce our stand in due course once everything is sorted out. This will include the whole list of technical panel.”

Recently, Wanderers, who finished fourth in the just ended season, said they were hunting for an assistant to coach Elia Kananji and were linked to Jegwe.

But asked to confirm their interest in Jegwe, Butao refused to comment. n
