Chimango Kayira put Bullets in front on the 10th minute; smashing his shot into the net after welcoming a square pass from the right. But Anthony Banda levelled matters eight minutes later, scrambling in his shot after Mapopa Msukwa’s back heel. Both sides had chances to snatch the lead but Wanderers goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa and Owen Chaima for Bullets stood firm.

Fans from either side sent text messages to determine who was to play and be substituted for their team. Nomads chief supporter Yona Malunga took charge of Wanderers while his Bullets counterpart Frank Msiska handled Bullets.
