Big Bullets FC are on Thursday expected to hold a meeting with their Central Region supporters to sensitise them on membership drive.

The team’s vice-chairperson responsible for the Centre, Austin Kasito, said the team’s leadership will meet the supporters at Lilongwe Community Centre ground to sell to them the membership enhancement idea which has rolled out in Blantyre.

Bullets are on a commercialisation drive and selling of membership cards is one of the main activities.

“We have started well in the South, so we would like to take the idea to other parts of the country.

“Bullets are playing in the finals of the Fama Cup on Saturday here in Lilongwe, so that gives us a good platform to sell the cards, but we thought of telling the people first,” said Kasito.

He added that in the past, Central Region supporters have shown great commitment in helping the team financially and should do more now that the team has structures.

“Central region fans fund-raised a lot for the team when it had no leadership and now that there is a proper structure with a number of fund-raising activities in place, we want them to help the team more and thus the Thursday meeting.”

The Bullets cards are selling at K500 ($2.99) each.
