Big Bullets FC board of trustees chairperson James Busile has told Kinnah Phiri not to further comment anything regarding the wrangles that have rocked the club.

Kinnah, secretary of the board of trustees, confirmed on Thursday that Busile also advised him not to attend last evening’s meeting which was aimed at sorting out the differences between him and the executive committee.

“I had a meeting with Mr. Busile and he advised me to ease down a gear in an attempt to sort out the differences. So, on the advice from the board chair, I will neither attend today’s [Thursday] nor comment anything.

“Let me also stress that I had nothing personal against the executive committee, all that we were asking for were the accounts which they have duly presented to us,” said Kinnah.

He also said he is concentrating on preparing the Flames for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations final qualification round against Ghana’s Black Stars.

“In view of that, all the issues pertaining to Thursday’s meeting are being handled by Mr. Busile,” he said.

Busile on Thursday confirmed advising Kinnah to rein in on the matter.

“This is an issue that can be sorted out amicably without going to the media. And you will be informed on the outcome of the meeting,” said Busile.

For the past two weeks, Kinnah has been at loggerheads with the club’s leadership in particular chairperson Malinda Chinyama over the club’s finances.

However, Chinyama and his team accused Kinnah of interfering with the running of the club.
