BDDL elective AGM tomorrow

Blantyre and Districts Darts League (BDDL) will hold its elective annual general meeting (AGM) tomorrow at Moth Club in Blantyre.

Fifteen aspiring candidates are vying for six positions of chairperson, vice-chairperson, general secretary, vice-general secretary, treasurer and vice-treasurer.

Three candidates namely incumbent Harry Msiska  from Poly CEC, Goodwin Mwakanema of Into Sports and Ted Mwanza of  Staff Development Institute (SDI),  are vying for the position of chairperson.

Incumbent vice-chairperson Palije Nyirenda faces Benson Bakali of BSC and Isaac Masinga of Nkula Bees Escom.

General secretary Blantyre Sports Club’s Diovan Surtee is seeking re-election against Anderson Fumulani who plays for Redbulls.

Vice-general secretary position has also attracted two candidates namely  Raffick Omar from Escom Kapichira Power Station and Steve Kalua from BSC.

Three candidates including incumbent Brave Chirwa from MPC,  Nasir Surtee from BSC and Muchanakhwaye Mpuluka from Redbulls, are vying for treasurer position.

Talimba Mwalwanda, Daniel Mwalwayo from Poly CEC and Robert Gongolo from BSC are vying for vice-treasurer position.

The  BDDL is currently sponsored by Deekay Suppliers at K100 000 per season.
