Last week, we talked about the wonders of lemon for a beautiful skin. Today, we continue the many other beauty benefits of lemon to your entire body that will help you look great!

Exfoliate dead skin cells with a cut lemon dipped into sugar, then rub on your face for a few minutes.  Doing this every night will help remove accumulated dead skin cells and refresh your skin.

For healthy nails, soak your fingernails or toenails in lemon juice for 10 to 15 minutes, brush them with a tooth brush or nail brush using a mixture of ½ teaspoon white vinegar and ½ teaspoon warm water. After this, rinse with warm water. The treatment will help brighten and strengthen your nails.

Use fresh lemon juice on any area of your body, including your face, to brighten up and soften your skin.  Just rub fresh lemon on any area before you go to bed, and rinse in the morning.  Adding one cup of fresh lemon juice to your bath water and soaking for 20 minutes will give you a whole body treatment.

For dull and damaged hair, combine ¾ cup of olive oil, ½ cup natural raw honey, and three tablespoons of lemon juice.  After shampooing your hair, work the lemon juice mixture in your hair, cover a plastic cap for half an hour, shampoo and rinse out as usual.

Use a mixture of ¼ cup with ½ cup olive oil for dandruff treatment. Rub gently onto your scalp, leave it on for 15 minutes, rinse, shampoo and condition as you normally do and within a few weeks, you will be dandruff free!

Lemon juice can be used to freshen your breath.  Lemon mixed with water is a good natural breath mint. The acidity in lemons helps destroy bacteria that gives you bad breath in your mouth. Lemon water can be taken throughout the day to freshen up your breath.

Mixed lemon and water, when taken will replenish and rejuvenate your body, therefore, include water and lemon in your diet if you want to stay healthy and preserve your beauty.
