Former Ghanaian Big Brother Africa representative M’ambea is coming to Malawi for this year’s Sand Music Festival.

She made it to the finale of the 2014 edition only to fall short of grabbing the jackpot.

However, that did not dent her spirits as she has used the fame to propel her performing career and set up M’ambea Fashion House, which produces ladies wear, from skirts, tops to dresses—all sewn from natural African original prints on eye-catching colours.

Her coming to Malawi is to participate at a fashion show scheduled to run alongside the festival which runs from October 30 to November 1.

“It is exciting to come to Malawi. It is definitely going to be my first time show casing my designs as well as my first time in Malawi and I cannot wait to experience the festival with Malawians,” she confirmed in an interview.

M’ambea has been designing for a while and will be coming from another fashion event in South Africa which took place on October 16.

“I have been doing it for years, but I have only concentrated on advertising the clothes for sale and not on the runway. So it will be a wonderful experience,” she said.
