Big Bullets on Sunday showed characteristic grit to come from behind and beat Moyale Barracks 3-2 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

It did not matter that the People’s Team boycotted training for the whole week in protest against their unpaid dues. They still stood up to be counted.

Following the win, Bullets are still on second position with 15 points from seven games. Blue Eagles, who lead with 17 points, held Azam Tigers to a goalless draw in Nchalo.

Moyale were the first to score through Deus Nkutu. Veteran forward Heston Munthali levelled for Bullets, but Robert Simkonda restored Moyale’s lead.

In the second half Bullets engaged an extra gear. They won a penalty that was converted by James ‘Terminator’ Chilapondwa to pull level. Later, Diverson ‘Agogo’ Mlozi struck the winner.
