The Roman Catholic Church will on Saturday next week consecrate Bishop Thomas Msusa as head of the Archdiocese of Blantyre.

Msusa will replace Archbishop Tarcizius Ziyaye currently heading the Archdiocese of Lilongwe, succeeding Archbishop Emeritus Ste Marie.

Chairperson of the organising committee Patrick Kaipa, announced the news at Limbe Cathedral Parish last Sunday. He said the event will take place at Limbe Cathedral in Blantyre.

Kaipa thanked all the Catholics in Archdiocese of Blantyre for working tirelessly in preparing for the consecration of their spiritual head.
