Lilongwe-based entrepreneur, David Bisnowaty, who is contesting for Lilongwe City Centre parliamentary seat on an independent ticket says Lilongwe is not fit to be called a Capital City because many of its residents continue to lack basic necessities.

Speaking during the launch of his campaign held at Area 25 early this week, Bisnowaty said the city needs general maintenance.

“I am contesting for this seat so that I can help in transforming the city.

“I do not want to go to Parliament to do ‘Cashgate’ but to bring change to Lilongwe City Centre constituency. My priority will be to improve the appearance of our Capital City which does not look like a Capital City,” he said.
