Blacks, Skeffa in blues
It was the same old song of poor patronage, but that did not leave those who wanted to enjoy a Saturday night in Blantyre disappointed.
Friends of music trekked to Blue Diamond where Skeffa Chimoto faced the Chileka reggae group—Black Missionaries.
For some fun lovers, the show was a déjà vu with that same kind of treats. For others, it was a different treat.
That goes without saying. For instance, Skeffa introduced fun lovers to sound in his next album.
“I am working on it. I appreciate what Malawi has done to me, and I should not disappoint them,” said Chimoto of Ndife Amodzi bestseller.
For Anjiru, the night out represented a different feel for his Black Missionaries crew.
“We value the love Malawians are giving us. Without their support, we are not [anything],” said Anjiru as the night died.
