Listen to this article

Blantyre City Council (BCC) on Monday warned the public against vandalising its property.

The warning follow increased cases of vandalism and theft of street lights, especially along the Zalewa Road. “The problem of vandalism cannot be solved by the council alone. There is need for collaboration among stakeholders such as residents, the police and the city council itself,” BCC public relations officer Luzana Khanga said.

She also said BCC is working to replace the vandalised facilities.—Mana
