Kapira said Larc’s introduction will help in saving lives of mothers who were dying because of giving birth frequently.

“The initiative, which is safe and effective, will also help save lives of children who were dying due to malnutrition, especially in circumstances where their mothers fail to exclusively breastfeed them,” said Kapira.

Traditional Authority (T/A) Kunthembwe welcomed the initiative.
