Kainja amassed 116 votes against Peter Chasweka’s 23.

Ackis Muwanga failed to retain his post of general secretary when he was outclassed by Mavuto Mbobo. Muwanga got 23 votes against Mbobo’s 117.

Former Blue Eagles player Chipiliro Ligola is now vice-general secretary. Ligola beat Frank Kalozeni with 92 votes against 31 whereas Inspector Sajiwa got seven votes.

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) executive member James Mwenda commended the club for conducting the elections in a democratic manner.
