Yesterday, the hosts were outplayed in all departments.

A Blessings Tembo’s goal in the 11th minute was all the visitors needed to bag three points.

Tembo curved scored from a free-kick just outside the box. The free-kick was awarded after Eagles defender Steve Chagoma fouled Chawanangwa Kawonga.

It was a temperamental game that saw Chagoma being sent for an early shower after head-butting Rodrick Gonani n the 36th minute.

The only notable chance for the hosts was in the 49th minute when Charles Ngosi rounded off Silver’s Lucky Malata in the box, but hastily shot wide.

Eagles coach Deklerk Msakakuona casted a sad shadow, but was gracious in defeat.

“We were a bit erratic and the game got worse with the red card,” he said.

For Silver coach the victory was sweet news.

“It was a physical game, but we managed to counter them and eventually won. Now, we have five points and things are looking good,” said Stein Chirwa in a post-match brief.
