Boadzulu Lodge in Mangochi will stage an amateur boxing bonanza on Wednesday to give boxing fans a festive treat.

According to one of the organisers Desire Kambewa, the bonanza will involve 24 pairs including female boxers.

He said the bonanza has been sponsored by Alexander Hotels Limited.

“Wednesday being a Boxing Day, Alexander Hotels felt it wise to host a boxing bonanza at Boadzulu in order to give their customers a rare treat,” said Kambewa.

He said the amateur boxers have been selected from the Southern Region and some of the notable names that are expected to take part are Aubrey Masamba, Israel Kam’mwamba, Tinkhani Kamanga, Ernest Msoliza, Belinda Chilemba and many more.
