Mozambican-based players agent James Nelito Pondamale of Intersport Mozambique confirmed on Thursday that Bokosi is currently in Mozambique negotiating terms with a top Mocambola League side Chibuto FC, which is based in Gaza District, about 200 kilometres from Maputo.

“It is an ambitious club that is willing to offer him a good deal, but it will depend on the outcome of the negotiations with Eagles,” said Pondamale.

He said the club finished top in the first-round of last season, but later lost the plot to finish the season on seventh position.

Pondamale said the Mozambican club is interested to sign Bokosi on loan up to the end of the season.

“It is an issue that is still under discussion though and we will see how it works in the end,” he said.

Should Bokosi sign for Chibuto FC, he will join a growing band of Malawian players such as Joseph Kamwendo, Simplex Nthala, Zicco Mkanda, Chiukepo Msowoya, Lewis Minjale, Jimmy Chikulekule, Sankhani Nyirenda, Emmanuel Chipatala, Danga Mlelemba and Gerald Nkungula who are plying their trade in the Mozambique League.
