Boot party or pool party?

Schools are out and for most youngsters going out on the weekend and finding a place to hang out are just what they need.

Last week a group of enterprising young guys known by the names Googz and Ken Gunz organised a pool party at the Gold Card Executive Club in Namiwawa, Blantyre.

The venue was secure enough all that was missing were some snacks to fill the stomachs up and the party fever was rife.

To spice the party up, Anne Kaphwiti Banda organised a Miss Gold Card and Miss Wet ‘n’ Wild Competition which had ladies with guts strut their stuff in bikinis and the sound of music.

To crown it all, urban life musician Barry One who also happened to be in the crowd pumped the tempo up with his numbers.

What others have resorted to do is to have a boot party making use of the Sunny Side Parks, taking their cars, parking them there and sitting on picnic chairs while having a drink , braii and listening to some music.

Take your pick, its summer; will you have
a boot party or a pool party?
