The newly established Transformer Records has given Nde’feyo Entertainment, Nyimbo Records and all other record labels a run for their money as one of their artist, Bucci (real name Mabuchi Mkandawire), has released two promotional singles Umbombo and Zitiyendera from his upcoming album titled Ngati Maloto.

Bucci started his music career in 2006 with G-soldiers, a Chilomoni based boy band, which Nde’Feyo’s Armstrong was a member. In 2008, he joined BBm Clique, a gospel band, and later moved to Nde’feyo as a backing vocalist in Maziko Band.

The artist recently left Nde’feyo Entertainment to find himself on a spotlight at the newly formed Transformers Music co-managed by Percy Manyozo and Mike Chilewe Junior.

The philosophy and ideas that accompany his soulful vocals supersede his age. Umbombo Bucci brings out the positive side  of the vice of selfishness.  He sings about a man who calls himself selfish (waumbombo) because he does not want to share his woman with anyone.

Zitiyendela is a song about a woman who now wants a man back because he has finally made it in life. The singles are already rocking the airwaves on local radio stations.

Transformer Music has since its establishment signed three artists: Gwamba, Aycee and Bucci. Ngati Maloto will be due in 4 months’ time. “We are currently working on other tracks in the album. Malawi should expect a mind blowing-album,” said Bucci at the time of the interview.

Manyozo, producer at Transformer Records, dubbed the artist as a complete package with a great powerful voice.

“Bucci is an amazing composer and singer with great dance moves, people should really look out for his video,” said Manyozo.
