Build your success circle

Achieving and maintaining success is not a one man show. Yes, you must be firmly in the driving seat, but need a team to cheer you on. Here are some suggestions of people to enlist onto your success team
Goals helper: Your goals helper should be someone who will help you clarify what is most important, craft your goals and identify investments to achieve the goals. They might also help you realise what your future might look like if you continued on your current path. They will help think more strategically, stay focused and envision how much further you could be several years down the line if you follow through on the goals.

Learning buddy: This is a person possibly on a similar path to yours, someone who believes in lifelong learning and is willing to share resources, be available to brainstorm solutions and encourage you when facing challenges. Choose someone who will not compete with you or envy you.
Performance coach: This person will help you build stamina to stay the course and remain resilient when the going gets tough. They can help you identify what factors will make the real difference to your performance and help you focus on those. They’ll celebrate your wins with you, support you through any challenges and help you stay strong.

Accountability partner: When you set your goals, you want to achieve them. But sometimes you get overtaken by events. It’s good to pre-empt by having someone who can help you stay committed and eliminate excuses. Your accountability partner will help you avoid over committing yourself.
Acceleration ally: This is the person who guides you in how to leverage your abilities; to stop things that slow you down or add no value. The acceleration ally guides you on how best to channel your energies for maximum effect.
