In a bid to secure K1.5 million bonus revenue in the TNM Sapota Mapeto Promotion, Big Bullets have urged their supporters to double up their SMS hits in the final month of the campaign.

Bullets continued to lead the 15-team pack with 37 469 SMS hits, but they need to double their contribution to at least 71 386 SMSs to hit the overall 300 000 SMS mark that will earn them the bonus revenue.

Since this season’s campaign started five months ago, Bullets have made a total of 228 614 hits, averaging 45 722 SMSs per month.

Bullets vice treasurer Alex  Gondwe said their fans need to up their game in the final months so as to earn the  bonus revenue.

“It will be a disgrace if we fail to hit the 300 000 SMS mark due to a deficit of just over 70 000 SMSs. We are a team that boasts over six million fans and it will be a shame if we lose this K1.5 million bonus,” he said.

In the latest draw conducted at TNM head office in Blantyre, Bullets made K1.3 million from the 37 469 SMSs.

Their rivals Mighty Be Forward Wanderers managed K600 495 from 17 157 hits while Silver Strikers came third with K144 270 from 4 122 SMSs.

So far, the promotion has generated a total of K13 265 845.

From that amount Bullets have accumulated K8.5 million while Wanderers and Silver come second and third with total revenue of K4.4 million and K860 000 respectively. n
