Bullets’ victory over Kamuzu Barracks on Saturday was the first in four matches after a draw against Mafco and a loss to Wanderers in the Blantyre derby in the league and a loss to AmaZulu FC in CAF Champions League.

Bullets head coach Callisto Pasuwa said he never gave up hope despite the disappointing results.

He said: “Remember, I am one person who always said I will not rest until the last game. It has been very tough for us.”

Wanderers’ victory over Ekwendeni Hammers on Thursday piled more pressure on the two top sides as the all the three teams now headed into the last two fixtures with just a point separating them.
