Nyasa Big Bullets’ trip to Tanzania where they were supposed to play an international friendly match against Young Africans (Yanga) this Saturday, has been postponed.
According to Bullets acting general secretary Kelvin Moyo, the match has been postponed because Yanga could not meet the demand to fly the People’s Team to Dar es Salaam.
“We accepted to play Yanga, but the executive committee felt it would be tiresome for the team to travel such a long trip by road.
“So, the alternative was to ask them if they can afford to fly us that side, but it didn’t work,” he said.
However, Moyo said the friendly match against another Tanzanian outfit Mbeya United, which is coached by Kinnah Phiri, is still under discussion and is earmarked for June 18 at Kamuzu Stadium.
