Zambia High Commissioner Salome Mwananshiku has urged Malawian businesses to participate in the 51st Zambia International Trade Fair (Zitf) scheduled for July this year.

Mwananshiku said the trade fair is a platform that Zambia and Malawian exhibitors can use to showcase their products and services and create partnership with other businesses in the Southern African Development Community (Sadc) region and beyond.

She said the fair has over the years continued to contribute to the consolidation of the economic ties with Sadc and the rest of the world.

The industrial, commercial and agricultural exhibition themed Prosperity through Business Reforms and Linkages will run from July 1 to 7 2015 in Ndola, a city located in the Copper Belt province of Zambia.

“As Africa and particularly the southern African bloc aspire for greater regional integration, there is need to take advantage of such platforms to market various goods and services that our countries have to offer,” said Mananshiku—Mana
