The Blantyre Water Board (BWB) is conducting a five-month customer household survey targeting all its connected customers.

The survey started on Monday and will run up to May 2013.

According to a press statement dated January 5 2013, the household survey aims at gathering up-to-date information that will help the board in serving its customers better.

Reads part of the statement: “This survey is being conducted by Research Info Masters and all data collectors will have identity cards bearing the Blantyre Water Board logo duly signed by an authorised signatory of the board.

“The board is appealing to customers in all its supply areas to cooperate with the data collectors by: “providing access to water meters and other related facilities within their premises, ensuring that they provide all the information requested in an accurate manner and ensuring that there is at least a person that can provide reliable information at home.”

In January, the data collection team will be in areas under Limbe Zone which include Chigumula, Mapanga, Mpingwe, Nkolokoti, Chichiri, Kanjedza, Nguludi, Chiwembe, South Lunzu and part of Chiradzulu.
