Tickets for the Carlsberg Cup final between rivals Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers will hit the market today in Lilongwe outlets, Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has announced.
FAM commercial and marketing director Limbani Matola said all is set for the final which will be played at Bingu National Stadium this Saturday.
He said: “We have decided to sell tickets in advance to provide opportunity to more football lovers to easily access the tickets before the match-day. The incentive is that those that will buy the tickets in advance will pay a cheaper price than on match-day.”
Covered stands are at K2 000 in advance and K3 000 on match-day while VIP stands are K7 500 in advance and K9 000 at the gates.
Corporate box for 10 people is at K80 000 in advance and K95 000 on match-day.
West corporate box is at K100 000 if paid in advance and K120 000 at the gates.
Meanwhile, the two sides have already started playing mind games ahead of the clash.
Wanderers team manager Steve Madeira has warned Bullets to expect a tough battle as the Nomads will be seeking to revenge the Super League loss they suffered at the hands of The People’s team last month.
But his Bullets counterpart, James Chilapondwa laughed off the threats.
To make it to the final, Wanderers beat Moyale Barracks 3-2 through post match penalties while Bullets stunned Red Lions 2-1 at Bingu National Stadium.
