Carlsberg Malawi Limited has said it is committed to ending the shortage of their products on the market.

Carlsberg Malawi chief executive officer Abel Chanje said this during the launch of the new look Carlsberg Green bottle.

The company’s customers have been having problems to access Carlsberg products due to erratic water and power supply, lack of bottles, among other factors.

The company has since embarked on the expansion drive to serve their customers better. The project will also benefit Malawi since some of Carlsberg products will be exported to other countries.

On the new Carlsberg look, Chanje said the design is in line with global trends and the direction the company is taking.

He said the design provides the market with a distinctive and appealing look and feel that is uniform across 140 markets.

He said the modern consumer is young at heart, explorative and ready to go for new and appealing products.

The new bottle will first be introduced in the Southern Region before the Central and North.
