Carlsberg Malawi Limited has partnered Entertainers Promotions in what has been dubbed All Stars Phungwe scheduled for Lilongwe this Friday.

The All Stars Phungwee deal was arrived at the Carlsberg Malawi premised this Tuesday during a press briefing. This event seeks to give Lilongwe entertainment-goers a rare chance of the year to flex their muscles as they take themselves to the dancing floor and sing alongs.

Jai Banda of the Entertainers Promotions told the media that fans should expect quality sound from their 55 000 megawatts equipment which has cost him K17 million to buy over the past 10 years or so.

“All musicians will be there ranging from Lucius Banda, Skeffa Chimoto, Young K, Lulu, Dan Lu, Black Missionaries, Anthony Makondetsa, Toza Matafale, and many more,” he said.

He added that the likes of Piksy, Sally Nyundo, Haxi Momba, will also be part of the crew to entertain fans the whole night until 10am on Saturday.

“We have invited radio DJs such as Kennedy Mkombezi and DJ Khumbo to spice up the show. People will actually enjoy the actual entertainment during the night because the equipment that we have this time around is not comparable,” Banda said.

Carlsberg Malawi senior brands manager TwikaleChirwa said the company is proud to be associated with music.

“We are also into music; hence; our partnership with Entertainers Promotion to achieve our goal. This is not the first time we are doing this because last time we joined hands when the Phungwee was at Motel Paradise in Blantyre,” said Chirwa.
