Cashing in on pig farming

Pigs are more productive compared to goats, sheep, cattle and other farm animals. One sow can produce up to 20 piglets in a year.

This makes pig farming one of the most lucrative business ventures world over. In Kasungu, some farmers are running pig farming as business and the results have been good as they are able to buy food and clothes for their families and pay school fees for their children.
